I was thinking about what I was doing this time last year. I was about 3 months pregnant and still on the couch feeling the effects of morning sickness, but for me it was 24 hour sickness. My mom and my mother-in-law were saints during this period of time. They were basically running my household for me. I'm talking dishes, cooking, cleaning, laundry. They stopped by periodically throughout the day to do some chores, play with Grant and help me get through the day. I couldn't have done it without them.
It's amazing how much my life has changed in a year! I finally have my little Freddy. Grant is the best big brother and a huge helper. We spent a lot of time in the house this winter b/c the little Fred-man cried, well, all the time.
Now, the sun is shining and all the signs of spring are here. This is the first year in a long time that I haven't felt like Spring was decades away. It actually kind of crept up on me. We have been spending tons of time outside. Grant can ride his Jeep again and Freddy plays in his saucer on the deck. I have actually planted some Pansies and am excited to watch them grow. It's nice to see signs of life again.
We all have a had a huge year and have seemed to either expanded our families or have hit milestones in one way or another. A year can make a huge difference and in reality it's not a huge amount of time. Spring tends to mark the beginning of a year for me. It's when I feel alive again. So, this year I am prepared for anything and can't wait to see what's in store for all of us.
Happy Spring Everyone!

I love spring, too! We have been enjoying the outdoors after being cooped up all winter as well. Congrats on another year gone by and so many good things that happened in it.
